Dr.Kees De Jong, Professor of Clinical Anatomy and Embryology in the Department of Medical Biology at the Amsterdam University Medical Center, received the Distinguished Member Award posthumously during the 22nd International Conference on Plastination held in Odense, Denmark, from July 20 to 23, 2026. The award was bestowed posthumously by the membership of The International Society for Plastination in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of the field of plastination.
