II International Seminar on Trends on the Teaching of Veterinary Anatomy. Course: PRINCIPLES AND TECHNIQUES OF PLASTINATION.

A special thanks to the partners, Prof. José Roberto Kfoury, Prof. Antonio Assis, Prof. Maria Angélica Migliano and Prof. Carlos Baptista, that together we could provide to those who dream about plastination, one more opportunity to contact with this fascinating technology. There were more than 100 participants: teachers, researchers and graduate students from all over Brazil and Peru.
The course included theoretical and practical classes on plastination, vacuum physics, an explanation on the acquisition, use, storage and disposal of chemicals controlled by the Federal Police, and a round table on anatomy museums.
The great success of the event was also due to the cast of diverse and experienced speakers, with whom we could count: Prof. Dr. Carlos Baptista, Prof. Dr. Claudio Hiroyuki Furukawa, Prof. Dr. Edson Libert, PF Agent Gismar Pinheiro Junior, Anatomy Technicians Yuri Favalessa Monteiro and Laíssa da Silva Juvenato.
